Introduction
Students get awareness concerning gender equality by going back in history and analysing today's situation. They produce films and make role plays to test what it personally means for them.

Objectives
- Students gain better understanding and awareness of gender equality
- Students produce short films with their mobile phones in groups of four
- Students determine their own role in the group
Process
1 double lesson - Topic: role images, prejudices, diversity
students work in groups and all together
students choose and discuss pictures concerning role models
teachers provide historical and social backround knowledge
Group work: students discuss what picture would be appropriate for today: personal exchange, internet research, current reports (newspaper, magazines, …); students draw pictures and depict actual role images
2 double lessons - Topic: See it - be it - women in film business
teacher provides different job profiles of professions in the film Industry (https://www.fc-gloria.at/);
We watch the making of "Maikäfer fliegt" which is provided by FC Gloria. "Maikäfer fliegt" (Christine Nöstlinger, 1973) is a film produced entirely by women in 2016.
students produce their own film by choosing a topic concerning gender equality
Follow up - 1 double lesson - Topic: Gender-sensitive language from then until today
teacher provides documents and students research how addressing people correctly (in person and by mail)
