Introduction
Students are often not aware of their skills. This lesson plan will help them focus and self-evaluate their skills to fill out a CV and create a self-promotion video.

Process
Description of activities:
- Phase 1- analysis of each of the 10 life skills uploaded in the classroom (work on vocabulary - identification of everyday contexts in which to experiment the selected life skills)
- Phase 2- identification of obstacles to overcome - individual reflections and subsequent work in pairs and in groups of 4 -
- Phase 3 - identification of one’s strengths: identification of already acquired social competences along with competences to consolidate and to work upon -
- Phase 4 - structure of the European CV: required items; analysis of filled out CVs; personal research of own skills and competences to promote in the view of a job interview
- Phase 5 - elaboration of a personal CV in the Italian language.
- Phase 6 watching examples of tutorials for the elaboration and making of a tutorial for self-promotion.
- Phase 7 - making of a video for self-promotion.
Materials and equipment
- Devices (a computer, a tablet, a mobile phone), Internet connection, IWB board, Europass CV form, videomaking programme (any).
